Roles & Responsibilities

As a CA Industrial Trainee at ITC Foodtech, you will gain hands-on exposure to multiple aspects of finance, ensuring you are industry-ready by the end of your training. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end closures.
• Performing cost accounting, product costing, and variance analysis for various SKUs and projects.
• Supporting the preparation of management information systems (MIS) reports, dashboards, and presentations for decision-making.
• Participating in internal control testing and ensuring adherence to company financial policies.
• Working closely with procurement, supply chain, and production teams to capture accurate cost data.
• Assisting in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Providing support during internal audits, statutory audits, and tax compliance.
• Contributing to process improvement projects and recommending efficiency measures.

Eligibility Criteria

• CA students who have cleared both groups of CA Intermediate and are eligible for Industrial Training as per ICAI regulations.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, cost management, and corporate finance.
• Good command over MS Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred).
• Ability to handle data, analyze numbers, and deliver actionable insights.
• Strong interpersonal skills, eagerness to learn, and adaptability in a corporate environment.
• Excellent communication (written & verbal) and presentation skills.
