Roles & Responsibilities

The primary responsibility is to enable data-driven decision making across the NBFC and business finance functions. You will be expected to:

• Design, develop and maintain dynamic financial models that support pricing, product economics, cashflow projections and portfolio risk assessment.
• Perform regular business performance analysis — including month-end close support, variance analysis, KPI tracking and forecasting.
• Collaborate closely with product, operations, credit and strategy teams to translate financial insights into product improvements and go-to-market actions.
• Prepare management reports, board packs and presentation-ready dashboards that communicate complex financial concepts in a clear, actionable way.
• Support financial governance — ensuring accuracy, compliance and reconciliation across NBFC ledgers and transaction flows.
• Drive process improvements and automation (Excel to BI tools) to scale reporting and reduce manual effort.
• Participate in ad-hoc strategic projects such as pricing experiments, new product launches, and capital planning initiatives.

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) — mandatory.
• Proven experience (or strong internship/articleship exposure) in financial modelling, business finance, or NBFC/fintech finance functions.
• Exceptional analytical skills with strong command over Excel, financial formulas, scenario analysis and sensitivity testing.
• Comfortable with data interpretation and visualization using spreadsheets or BI tools; ability to communicate numbers to non-finance stakeholders.
• High attention to detail, strong ownership mindset and the ability to multi-task in a fast-moving environment.
• Good communication and stakeholder-management skills — able to present findings to senior leaders.
• Prior exposure to lending products, loan portfolios or credit metrics is a plus but not strictly required.
