Role Overview
As a member of the Accounting & Reporting team you will assist in end-to-end financial reporting and statutory compliance activities. Your responsibilities will include preparing draft financial statements, reconciliation of ledgers, inventory valuation, preparation of disclosures, and supporting monthly/quarterly/year-end closings. You will interact with internal teams and external auditors and work with tools such as MS Excel and SAP. Roles & Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting & Accounting: Help prepare draft financial statements and detailed schedules; support accounting entries and reconciliations; ensure consistent application of IND-AS and company accounting policies.
- Valuation & Inventory: Support valuation exercise for inventory and cost accounting elements; ensure accounting treatment aligns with contractual terms and IND-AS guidance.
- Financial Closure & Compliance: Support monthly/quarterly/annual closing procedures; assist in preparing statutory compliance reports and ensuring timelines are met.
- Preparation of Disclosures: Assist in compiling disclosure notes, related party schedules, segment reporting, and other statutory annexures required in financial statements.
- Audit & Coordination: Coordinate with internal and statutory audit teams; prepare audit support files and ensure queries are tracked and resolved timely.
- MIS & Data Management: Prepare MIS reports for management review; perform data processing and analysis using Excel; extract and validate data from SAP.

- Cross-Functional Interaction: Work closely with project accounting, procurement, tax, and treasury teams to gather information and resolve accounting issues.

- Compile schedules for fixed assets, payables, receivables and inventory.
- Address auditor queries and collate supporting documents.
- Update MIS dashboards and present data extracts for reporting packs.
Eligibility Criteria
- Chartered Accountant (CA) — Fresher (qualified in recent attempts preferred).
- Strong conceptual understanding of financial accounting, reporting and auditing principles.
- Familiarity with IND-AS and statutory compliance requirements.
- SAP exposure preferred — even basic hands-on familiarity will help.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, formulae) and comfort preparing MIS.
