Roles & Responsibilities

The Junior Accountant will handle day-to-day finance operations and support month-end activities. Key responsibilities include:

• Process and record sales invoices, purchase invoices and related vouchers using billing software and Tally.
• Maintain ledgers, prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts on a regular basis.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities by preparing reconciliations and summary reports.
• Manage petty cash, vendor payments and follow up on receivables as per company policy.
• Prepare basic financial statements and supporting schedules for review by senior accountants.
• Support internal and external audits by providing documents and explanations as requested.
• Use Advanced Excel to prepare reports, perform data analysis, and automate recurring tasks.
• Communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve billing and payment queries.

Eligibility Criteria

• Education: Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent qualification.
• Experience: 3–4 years in accounting or finance roles, preferably handling bookkeeping and billing.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Tally, Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas), MS Word and basic billing software.
• Soft Skills: Good communication, strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability and a team-player attitude.
