Roles & Responsibilities
This role requires an energetic auditor who can manage audit tasks end-to-end and ensure high-quality deliverables. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Planning and executing audit engagements in accordance with approved audit methodology and IFRS.
- Performing walkthroughs, testing internal controls, and substantive testing of financial statement balances.
- Preparing audit workpapers, schedules, and supporting documentation that meet firm quality standards.
- Reviewing financial statements for presentation and disclosure under IFRS and local regulations.
- Identifying audit issues, proposing practical recommendations, and discussing findings with client management.
- Contributing to risk assessment procedures and assisting in developing audit plans.
- Supporting senior auditors and managers with client communications and status updates.
- Mentoring junior staff and delegating assignments when required.
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or ACCA OR Semi-Qualified CA with strong academic record.
- 2–4 years of progressive audit experience with exposure to IFRS-based financial statements.
- Proven understanding of auditing standards, internal controls, and risk-based audit methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience with accounting software and audit tools will be an advantage.
