Position Details
Role: Accounting & Finance Professional
Location: Bangalore (Onsite/Hybrid depending on role)
Employment Type: Full-time / Contractual (as per requirement)
Roles & Responsibilities
- Accounting & Bookkeeping: Maintain ledgers, prepare journal entries, perform bank and ledger reconciliations, and support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial statements, management reports, variance analyses, and cash flow statements in line with applicable accounting standards.
- Tax Compliance: Support GST, TDS, and income-tax related compliance activities including return preparation, filing support, and coordinating with tax consultants as needed.
- Audit Support: Work closely with internal and external auditors to gather documentation, explain accounting treatments, and implement audit recommendations.
- Client Interaction: Communicate professionally with clients to understand requirements, resolve queries, and present findings and reconciliations.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in finance operations and suggest process improvements or automation opportunities.
- Ad hoc Projects: Participate in special projects such as financial modelling, budgeting, system migrations, and due-diligence support.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational qualifications: MCom / BCom / CA (Qualified or Semi-qualified) / MBA (Finance).
- Preferred experience: Articleship or prior work experience with CA firms, boutique finance consultancies, or corporate finance teams.
- Practical exposure to accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar) is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, basic taxation concepts, TDS, and GST mechanics.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal) and a professional attitude for client-facing interactions.
- Attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to work under deadlines.
