Roles & Responsibilities
As Manager – Audit, you will lead audit engagements end-to-end, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality audit outputs and maintaining strong client relationships. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning, scoping and executing statutory and internal audits across clients from diverse industries.
- Performing risk assessments, designing audit programmes, and identifying control weaknesses.
- Reviewing and finalizing audit workpapers, financial statements and audit reports in accordance with SA/ISA and local regulations.
- Leading fieldwork, coordinating with client finance teams, and managing information requests to ensure smooth execution.
- Mentoring, supervising and developing junior staff — delegating tasks, reviewing outputs and providing structured feedback to build capability within the team.
- Driving process improvements and suggesting pragmatic recommendations for internal controls and operational efficiencies.
- Contributing to new business development by supporting proposals, client meetings and thought leadership initiatives.
- Ensuring compliance with firm policies on quality control, documentation and audit ethics.
Eligibility Criteria
- CA Qualified from ICAI (mandatory).
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in statutory and internal audits, preferably with exposure to Big 4 / mid-size CA firms.
- Strong understanding of accounting standards, audit methodologies, and financial statement reporting.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to interpret complex accounting transactions.
- Proven people management skills — ability to lead a team, coach juniors and manage multiple deliverables.
- Good communication skills (written & verbal) to interface with clients and senior stakeholders effectively.
- Comfortable using audit software, MS Excel, and basic ERP systems. Familiarity with data analytics tools is advantageous.
