- Reporting To: Finance Manager / Head of Finance

Roles & Responsibilities
This is a hands-on, end-to-end accounting role. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintain daily accounting entries for sales, purchases, expenses, and inventory adjustments using Tally / Excel / ERP solutions.
- Prepare, validate and file statutory returns including GST, TDS, PF and ESI on time with accurate support schedules.
- Generate monthly financial statements — Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet — and prepare MIS dashboards highlighting key KPIs (revenue, gross margin, store-level performance).
- Reconcile vendor and supplier accounts, resolve discrepancies, approve vendor statements and manage payment cycles to optimize working capital.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations, petty cash accounting and manage cash flow forecasts to ensure liquidity for daily operations.
- Process payroll, create staff salary sheets, manage attendance-linked calculations and ensure timely salary disbursal.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations and providing documentation in a timely manner.
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls, process documentation and suggest process improvements to reduce manual effort and error.
- Collaborate closely with store managers, procurement and operations teams to ensure accurate recording of sales, discounts and supplier credits.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: BCom / MCom / CA (Inter) / MBA (Finance) preferred.
- Experience: 5–7 years in accounting, with practical exposure to retail or F&B accounting being an advantage.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Tally, advanced MS Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, formulas), familiarity with common ERP workflows and MS Office tools.
- Compliance Knowledge: Sound understanding of GST, TDS, PF/ESI and statutory filings.
- Personal Attributes: High attention to detail, deadline-driven, good communication skills, ability to work under pressure and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
